Rules – Policy

RIVERBEND MARINA, INC. – RULES AND REGULATIONS
Welcome to Riverbend Marina. We hope you will agree that these rules are simple, logical, easy to observe and are based on common sense.

1. A refundable gate card deposit of $25.00 per contract is required with a maximum of two (2) gate cards issued per dock. If you lose or misplace a gate card, there will be a $50.00 charge to replace it.
2. All dockers must use 30 amp twist lock 120 volt yellow shore line power cords. Due to state regulations, the only use of electric is from shore to boat.
3. Written consent must be obtained by Lessee prior to all boat repairs and/or maintenance on the premises. Any approved boat laborer or mechanic must be bonded and insured with proof provided to Lessor prior to performance of work. Lessee shall hold Lessor harmless for any damage or injury occasioned by the same.
4. Lessor has the right to move Lessee’s boat for the safety of said or other boats, if deemed necessary.
5. The Lessor assumes no responsibility for personal articles or equipment kept on or left at dock or storage areas at any time. All docks and dock areas are stripped clean at end of season, October 31st. Any personal items left on the premises after the end of season will be disposed of at the cost of Lessee, who shall immediately reimburse Lessor.
6. There shall be no commercial use of the dock or storage area, except in designated areas.
7. The speed limit is 5 MPH for autos and NO WAKE for boats.
8. There shall be no intoxication, rowdiness, profanity or any other offensive or disorderly conduct by the Lessee or his/her guests.
9. Rubbish must be disposed of in containers furnished for that purpose. Please do not put fish remains in the trash dumpsters or anywhere on Riverbend property.
10. No fires shall be allowed except in portable grills and must be kept at a minimum of 25′ from the waters’ edge. Absolutely no type of flames should be near the boats.
11. No wiring or dock lights, other than those furnished, shall be installed without prior written approval by Lessor. Only 50 watts or less are permitted.
12. No refrigerators, ice boxes, decks, camping tents and/or motor homes or any other temporary or permanent structure or wall shall be permitted on the grounds.
13. Parking is permitted in front of Lessee’s dock. Guest’s must utilize the guest parking lot. No vehicle shall park so to obstruct any other dock or driveway or near any electrical box. Any vehicle in violation of this rule will be towed at Lessee’s expense.

14. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adult and supervised at all times. It is recommended that all children wear life jackets while on the premises.
15. Pets shall be leashed or fenced at all times. Lessee is responsible for cleaning up of pet waste. Any pets creating a disturbance will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
16. Carpet is permitted to be used on the metal portion of dock only.
17. Boat trailers kept on premises during summer season (provided storage space is available) must be left in designated area at the owner’s risk. Trailers must display current parking permit, and state registration if required. Storage for boat trailers only.
18. No heaters, air conditioners and/or fans are to be left running while Lessee is not at dock.
19. Absolutely no fueling at dock, including Cam 2 gasoline!
20. Lessee is responsible for the mowing & weeding of his/her dock area.
21. Lessee must keep his/her dock area clean and tidy/ loose personal items are to be kept to a minimum. Firewood must be kept to one (1) neat and orderly 4’x4′ stack!
22. Dock boxes are to be uniformed.
23 Boats should be washed with pure water according to EPA Rules and Regulations
24. No Portable sinks allowed per Health Department.
25. Any person operating a golf cart or scooter must have a driver license. Owners must notify and register all golf carts/scooters at the office, and must of dock numbers affixed to both sides in 3″ letters and numbers in a contrasting color. All carts/scooters operators must follow the laws of motor vehicles. Should Riverbend receive two complaints, the owner of the vehicle shall be required to remove it from the Marina immediately.
26. All boats winterization by Lessor may take up to two weeks after lift-out. Lessee is responsible for any damage resulting from freezing or weather conditions prior to winterization. Lessee shall be permitted to obtain its own winterization services at their sole expense.

Lessee agrees that all of the above rules and regulations are to be observed . Offenders will lose their dockage without refund.
